Ground mat and outrigger pad questions
What is a common ground protection mat size?
A common reference format is 1.2 m × 2.4 m × 12 mm. It is not the right format for every ground condition or vehicle.
How should I choose ground mat thickness?
Use the ground type and condition, vehicle gross weight, axle or wheel loads, route layout, expected passes, reuse and handling plan. TERRADON offers 10–50 mm options, but that range is not a universal load table.
Can load capacity be determined from thickness alone?
No. Capacity depends on product design, support condition, load type and distribution, layout and test basis. TERRADON does not publish one universal capacity without those conditions.
When should I ask for an outrigger pad instead of a ground mat?
Ground mats distribute vehicle traffic over a route or work area. Outrigger pads address concentrated loads from stabilizers or support legs. Provide the equipment, outrigger load, foot size and ground condition for selection.
What information is needed for a project quote?
Send the application, ground condition, vehicle or equipment loads, route or support dimensions, quantity, destination, timing, reuse and handling needs.
Can lengths and colors be adjusted?
Custom lengths and selected colors can be discussed. Maximum available width is 3 m. Black and white are common; blue, green and other colors require enquiry confirmation.
Can you add our logo?
No. Customer-logo customization is not offered.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The current minimum order quantity is 10 pieces.
