Match the Mat to the Vehicle and Ground
10–12 mm
Typical starting point for domestic use and vehicles of approximately 1–4 tonnes.
15 mm or Thicker
Suggested starting point for vehicles above approximately 4–5 tonnes.
20–40 mm
For heavier vehicles and demanding conditions, subject to project review.
Plastic or Metal Connectors
Each shared mat edge normally uses two connectors. A straight run of two mats uses two connectors; three mats use four. Plastic connectors provide more positive fixing, while metal connectors offer a simple alternative.
